Earlier this month, LucasFilm released a featurette for Star Wars Rebels, which introduced fans to executive producer Greg Weisman. Today, the studio has released a similar featurette with another creative force behind the series, executive producer Simon Kinberg. Watch as he explains the appeal in telling the Rebel Alliance's origin story with this animated series, creating their new villain 'The Inquisitor' and his favorite scenes from the movie franchise, along with new glimpses at this anticipated animates series, which takes place between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, introducing new characters alongside some beloved members of this epic sci-fi saga.
Star Wars Rebels debuts this fall with a one-hour special on the Disney Channel, before transitioning to its regular home on Disney XD.
