In this age of social media, an actor simply can't post anything to his or her Facebook account without it being overanalyzed by scoop hungry fans. Case in point, Arrow star Stephen Amell has just posted a photo from an old comic book on his personal account, and now everyone is speculating that his character will crossover from the small screen to the big screen in Justice League. Take a look at his antique tease here.

Justice League

This probably means nothing. Or maybe it means everything. We can never be sure until a press release makes it official. Could the actor be starring in Justice League? Is he hinting at the producers that he is game for it? Are Warner Bros. and DC planning a small screen to big screen crossover?

This type of self-promotion worked in Vin Diesel's favor when he posted a photo of himself standing in front of an Avengers comic book while at the Marvel offices. He eventually went onto score the role of Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy. On the other in of the spectrum, Simon Pegg innocently pointed to a photo of Ant-Man on his Twitter account, and within minutes, fans across the globe had him pegged to play the character. Which was not the case, nor was it the intention.

What do you think? Do you want to see the DC Universe merge its small screen and big screen properties the way Marvel has? Or is Stephen Amell too low rent for a major motion picture. Do we even want Green Arrow in Justice League?
