In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Stephen Bishop will play baseball slugger David Justice in Columbia's Moneyball.

Bennett Miller is directing this project. It will start shooting in two weeks in Los Angeles. Scott Rudin and Michael De Luca are producing.

Steven Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin wrote the script, which follows Michael Lewis' 2003 nonfiction book about the Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Beane. The film examines "his strategy for building a successful team without paying players enormous salaries."

A longtime player for the Atlanta Braves, David Justice played his last MLB season, in 2002, for the Oakland A's, who went to the playoffs that year.
