There literally hasn't been a day that's gone by this week without new details surfacing from the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad, so why should that change today? Latino Review's El Mayimbe has revealed new tidbits about Jai Courtney's Boomerang. While nothing is set in stone yet, it seems that director David Ayer is contemplating a number of different looks for the character, which are all "hard-rock influenced." Take a look at what El Mayimbe has to say below.

"#SUICIDESQUAD #skwad #CAPTAINBOOMERANG tidbit. So here is what I know about Jai Courtney's character. Boomerang is very rock n roll & they're experimenting with a series of looks for him. Very hard rock influenced. Example, he wears a pantera shirt with his prison uniform plus the trademark beanie. #dc #dccu #dcmovie #dccomics #jaicourtney #pantera"

With production scheduled to begin next month in Toronto, it isn't known when we'll get our first official look at Boomerang or the rest of the Suicide Squad, Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), The Joker (Jared Leto), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) and Enchantress (Cara Delevingne). In the comics, George "Digger" Harkness is often mocked for his use of the Boomerang as a weapon, but the New 52 version gave him more charisma, as he is oftentimes seen competing with the Squad's other top marksman, Deadshot.

What do you think about these Boomerang details? Do you think Jai Courtney has the chops to bring this character to life in Suicide Squad? Chime in with your thoughts below, and stay tuned for more on Suicide Squad as we get closer to production starting.
