Last month, we reported that the first test screenings for Warner Bros. Suicide Squad took place in Northern California, with early reactions on Twitter hailing the movie as a masterpiece. There was already plenty of buzz swirling around the movie after the first two trailers debuted, but these reactions seemed to cement the movie's status as one of the most anticipated of 2016. Last week, another early screening was held, and while most of the reactions were equally positive, some viewers claimed that the villain was a "disappointment."

The screening was held on Thursday night in Sacramento, California, with several users taking to Twitter and Reddit to voice their opinions about the movie. One Reddit user dubbed "soyodu" claimed to have liked the movie, but revealed that the villain was a "big disappointment." This user also added that this was an unfinished cut of the movie, but there were still two characters this user didn't like. Here's what "soyodu" had to say below, revealing that he still does think the Suicide Squad movie is a good movie overall. And it must be noted, the villain in question has not been revealed and is being kept underwraps until its theatrical debut.

"There were two characters I didn't like. Felt nothing towards them and when they had that so-called emotional scene at the end, nothing. The villain was a big disappointment considering how fresh the idea I thought it was. I still thought it was a very good movie. This is an unfinished cut. There was lots that I really liked, good action, pacing (for the most part). But as I've said there were 2 characters who had a decent sized role in the plot/story that did not connect with me. I could care less about them. They tried for an emotional scene and yea...didn't work."

Another Reddit user dubbed "Malachim" added that he/she thinks this movie demands a sequel, but also feels that critics will find a way to "hate" it. "Malachim" went onto compared the movie to Batman The Animated Series, which ironically is the series where the Harley Quinn first appeared, before she transitioned into the DC Comics. Here's what "Malachim" had to say.

"This is the type of movie that demands a sequel. I'm sure critics will find ways to hate it (it's basically a gritty action movie with comic book characters and a Hot Topic aesthetic, which honestly might turn critics off), but DC fans will like it. The BIG thing is that the movie literally saves DCEU Batman. This Batman is BTAS personified."

We also have a few Twitter reactions from fans who saw this early screening, with one fan calling writer-director David Ayer a "genius," while another claimed it was the best DC movie he's ever seen. It isn't known how many more of these early screenings Warner Bros. plans on holding before the August 5 release date, but we'll continue to keep you posted with more from Suicide Squad. Until then, take a look at these early reactions below from an early screening of Suicide Squad.
