Earlier today, new Suicide Squad set photos teased an epic crossover with the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If you didn't read that story, and want to avoid any SPOILERS, then read on at your own risk. If you would like to see the new set photos that have surfaced since then, which confirm that an important car chase scene is being filmed, then keep on reading.

The Suicide Squad images from earlier today revealed the iconic Batmobile on the set, and we also had other photos featuring the purple Lamborghini driven by The Joker (Jared Leto), with Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) also spotted inside the car. While we never saw both cars in the same shot, it was speculated that the Batmobile was chasing down The Joker and Harley Quinn, and now we have new photos that confirm this chase was being filmed on the Toronto set. Unfortunately, we have no specific details about exactly why the Batmobile is chasing down Joker and Harley Quinn, but hopefully we'll learn more as production continues.

The new Batman himself, Ben Affleck, was spotted on the Suicide Squad set back in April, but it isn't known if he was present for these new scenes involving the Batmobile, or if he was driving the vehicle himself. One of the photos offers a tiny glimpse at the Batmobile driver's face, but we can't make out exactly who it is. Regardless of who is driving, these images surely give us a better look at the Batmobile, and now that we know that a car chase between Batman and The Joker is happening, hopefully we'll learn more details about why the chase takes place. While we wait for more information, check out the latest photos from the Suicide Squad set below.
