With just over one week left until Focus hits theaters, stars Will Smith and Margot Robbie are continuing their press tour, where they have revealed new details about their next collaboration, playing Deadshot and Harley Quinn together in the Warner Bros.' superhero adaptation Suicide Squad. Production is slated to begin this April in Toronto, and while many fans are familiar with The Joker (Jared Leto), others may not be as familiar with Deadshot, who was featured in the CW series Arrow last season. Will Smith revealed he looks forward to creating "the global definition" of the DC Comics character Deadshot, promising fans the best version of the character in history (we're sure Michael Rowe, who does a fine job of playing Deadshot on The CW's Arrow, will be happy to hear this):

"With this character and the DC world, I love that I'm getting the opportunity for the global definition of Deadshot. There's been Deadshot in little appearances here and there, there's an idea, but Deadshot isn't defined, really. I get to be a part of the creation that will be the biggest historical image of Deadshot."

Margot Robbie also revealed that she told Will Smith to sign on as soon as she heard he was being considered to play Deadshot.

"I'm so happy. When I heard that he was considering taking this job, I texted him immediately and said, 'You better take this job! Because I'm signed on, so you better sign on too, OK?' And he did."

When asked about the possibility of playing Harley Quinn multiple times, the actress had this to say.

"Yeah, I hope so. I mean, she's rad. She sounds rad, from all the research I've been doing."
