With Suicide Squad's August 5 release date just a few weeks away, many fans were surprised when it was confirmed that the movie will be part of Warner Bros. Comic-Con slate, especially since David Ayer and the cast showed up in Hall H last year. The director and the cast didn't show up empty handed this year either, with a new trailer that features one of the soundtrack songs by Rick Ross. This video will be just what fans need to get in the right frame of mind before this comic book adaptation hits theaters.

The main Suicide Squad cast all get a moment to shine in this latest sneak peek from YouTube. Included in the hard-hitting line-up are Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Slipknot (Adam Beach), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Recent reshoots were said to inject more fun into this madcap thriller. And it appears that notion worked in their favor.

It feels good to be bad...Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

The supporting cast includes Scott Eastwood, Common, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack, David Harbour, and Alex Meraz. Ben Affleck will also return as Batman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, although it isn't known how large or small a role he has in this movie. The actor was seen in videos and photos from the set hanging atop The Joker's sports car as it sped through the streets of Toronto.

David Ayer directs Suicide Squad from his own script, based on the DC Comics. We reported earlier this year that Warner Bros. wants David Ayer and Will Smith to return for Suicide Squad 2, which could start shooting in early 2017, but that hasn't been confirmed quite yet. Take a look at this brand new Suicide Squad video as the anticipation builds towards the August 5 release.
