Summit Entertainment picks up The Three Musketeers We reported earlier this week that the cast of director Paul W.S. Anderson's new film was growing fast and now they have found a distributor. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Summit Entertainment will distribute The Three Musketeers 3D.

Our earlier report on the film's casting stated that Anderson was set to begin principal photography in September, but, since Summit wants to release the film next summer, Anderson has pushed up production to start in August.

"We recognize the blockbuster potential of The Three Musketeers, so summer 2011 is the ideal window," said executive producer Martin Moskowicz of Constantin Film. "It means we have to start filming a month earlier than planned, but we are ready to shoot."

Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans and Matthew Macfadyen will star as the title characters, Porthos, Aramis and Athos, with Christoph Waltz starring as Cardinal Richelieu, Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort and Milla Jovovich as Milady de Winter.

The Three Musketeers was released October 14th, 2011.

Milla needs to stop being in her husbands films, he's bringing her down to his level.

This is over done and no way I'll watch a 3D version, a 2D version I would watch but that's about it

How the hell can you better something that has already been done with Micheal York, Oliver Reed.

This is so sad that Summit film are even investing in The Three Musketeers 3D.
