If you haven't been paying attention to all of the Supergirl casting news flooding in as of late, the CBS series is putting together a big lineup of guest stars, portraying iconic DC Comics characters. Today, Variety reports there is yet another new addition to the cast, with True Blood alum Brit Morgan coming aboard to portray Leslie Willis, otherwise known as Livewire. The actress will guest star in one episode of Supergirl, but it isn't clear what episode that may be.

Leslie Willis is described as a confident, abrasive and funny shock-jock who works for CatCo Media, the massive corporation owned by Kara Zor-El's (Melissa Benoist) boss, Cat Grant Calista Flockhart). The site reveals that an accident makes her as dangerous and as shocking as the words she delivers on the air, and Supergirl has to step in and stop her. It isn't known if there is potential for the character to come back at some point during Season 1.

Brit Morgan's Livewire joins an already-impressive list of heroes and villains set to appear in Supergirl, such as Peter Facinelli (Maxwell Lord, Chris Browning (Reactron) and Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Lucy Lane/Superwoman). The show's executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that the show will also feature General Sam Lane, the father of both Lois and Lucy Lane, Red Tornado and a Kryptonian villain named Non. These characters have not been cast yet, so stay tuned for more details.

The main Supergirl cast is rounded out by Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott. Dean Cain and Helen Slater are also starring as Kara Zor-El's foster parents, the Danvers. The series was created by Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler, who will serve as executive producers alongside Andrew Kreisberg.

Brit Morgan is best known for playing Debbie Pelt on True Blood, where she appeared in 14 episodes. Most recently the actress had a guest-starring stint on The Night Shift and a nine-episode arc on Graceland. Are you looking forward to seeing Livewire tangle with Supergirl this season?
