Two of the hottest projects in town right now are Zack Snyder's Superman and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. With casting still falling into place for both projects, a number of actors and actresses have been rumored for both movies, including Kate Mara and Malin Akerman.

Both actresses were recently doing press for their new comedy Happythankyoumoreplease, and cleared up the recent rumors.

First up, Kate Mara is reportedly in contention for a major female role in The Dark Knight Rises, although the actress coyly revealed she has not even read a script for the adventure yet.

"I unfortunately never did get to see any sort of script. So I wouldn't be able to tell you a thing. And I wouldn't even be able to tell you anything about anything about it."

Of course, it is possible that Kate Mara did, in fact, audition for The Dark Knight Rises, only she never saw a script. Malin Akerman is also reportedly in contention to play Lois Lane in Superman, which would reunite her with Watchmen director Zack Snyder. Here's what she had to say about those rumors.

"You know, I think there's a lot of rumors going around about a lot of different things and you look on the internet and go, 'Oh really?! I'm in that?' Or, 'Attached to that? Cool. Great. I hope my agent calls me and lets me know.' I think there's a lot of rumors going around. I'd jump at the chance to work with Zack again, but we'll see what happens."
