The CW's Supernatural is more popular in Season 11 than it has ever been, and the thrills, shocks and surprises don't show any signs of slowing down over the next few months. The series returns with all-new episodes just in time for Halloween, with the episode titled Bad Seed kicking things off on October 7. While we only have a few short days to wait until Dean and Sam are back fighting the good fight, The CW has released a full two-minute trailer. And be warned, it doesn't look good for the brothers. In fact, one of them may not make it out of this season alive.

'What new hell has Dean Winchester unleashed upon the world?' That is just one question facing our heroes in this latest sneak peek, which was shared by the cast of the series earlier today. A soothing rendition of the classic folksong 'O, Death' underscores a harrowing bit of action and drama that teases a great danger is on the horizon. Sam's cries for help are set against unsettling shots of a baby and a whole lot of trouble. There seems to be no shortage of bad moments heading toward the Winchester Bros. like an unstoppable freight train. And they wouldn't have it any other way. There is quite a lot going on in this latest sneak peek, but it only hints at what's to come for Sam and Dean.

Supernatural Season 11 promises to be the darkest yet for The Winchester Bros. At the end of Supernatural Season 10, one of their roughest yet, Sam and Dean accidentally set The Darkness free from its hole. And now they must fight like mad to lock it back up from whence it came! Executive producer Jeremy Carver had this to say about the state of things when the hit show returns this fall.

"Castiel, first and foremost, has to find a way out of this spell that Rowena has cast on him. That's not as easy as it may sound. Being under the influence of this spell, it's going to lead him to some pretty uncomfortable situations. [Crowley] is very much trying to figure out how he is going to navigate this new world where The Darkness threatens just about everything."

There are other surprises in store for Supernatural Season 11. As this ground-breaking CW series prepares for it's epic eleventh year on the air, Dean's 1967 Chevrolet Impala, lovingly referred to as Baby, will get a whole hour devoted to it. In its 11th Season, Supernatural will also be returning to its original formula. And we'll also get to see some mysterious elements arise from Sam and Dean's past.

The Winchester Brothers will be tasked with figuring out how far The Darkness reaches, and how to fix it. The big villain this year is pre-biblical, and no one knows how to cope with its evil ways. That means Sam and Dean will finally be at each others' sides, fighting together instead of squabbling. But that brotherly love is going to surely be put to the test, and one of them may need to buy a wreath. Though, death has never stopped these two haint-hunting, monster-killing, witch-stomping badasses before. Some black cloud named after a UK novelty band isn't going to be the end of these demon bashers by a long shot! We also have the Supernatural Season 11 poster in case you missed it when it debuted last month.
