The newly-branded SyFy Network is moving forward and handing out renewals for two of its latest additions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, SyFy has issued renewals for Stargate Universe and Sanctuary.

The network has handed out 20-episode orders for each series. Stargate Universe just aired its midseason finale and will be on hiatus until it finishes the first-season run in April. The show will debut its second season in the fall, alongside the third season of Sanctuary.

Both shows, which air on Friday nights on SyFy, have already started production on their respective new seasons in Vancouver.
