Brian Tee has signed on to play Shredder in Paramount's upcoming sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. While it was originally thought that William Fichtner's Eric Sacks was going to be revealed as Shredder in last year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the production brought in Tohoru Masamune to play the iconic villain in reshoots, as Eric Sacks became the second in command of the Foot Clan. No details were given for how Brian Tee's Shredder will be different from Tohoru Masamune's version of the villain.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox (April O'Neil) and Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick) are set to return, with William Fichtner also likely coming back as Eric Sacks. New cast members include Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman and supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio playing herself, the new love interest to Vern Fenwick. It has also been confirmed that the popular villains Bebop and Rocksteady will make an appearance in the sequel, but it isn't known who will be playing them.

Dave Green (Earth to Echo) is directing from a script by original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. Michael Bay is producing alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Bradley Fuller. Brian Tee will next be seen in Jurassic World, and he also recently appeared on an episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 this fall.
