While we've seen him teased in previous TV spots and trailers, today we get our first full look at evil alien villain Krang outside his robotic suit of armor known as Kraang. And the tiny pink monster looks pretty faithful to the comic books. There's no disputing that fact. It will be hard for fans to argue against this one, as Krang, voiced by Fred Armisen, arrives on the big screen intact.

And as per producer Michael Bay's wishes, Krang doesn't look so much like an Octopus. This was a big worry during the design phase of the creature. But it appears the filmmaking team, lead by director Dave Green, found the look they were hoping for. This is what Bay had to say about Krang while working with visual effects supervisor Pablo Helman to get the look just right.

"He could have some tentacles. I just don't want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus."

It was confirmed back in January that Krang will be the main villain in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. When the first reboot opened in theaters back in 2014, many fans were quite disappointed that Krang didn't show up. But Ninja Turtles 2 is really making up for that in a big way. The movie is stuffed to the brim with iconic characters from both the comics and the cartoon series, including Casey Jones, BeBop & RockSteady and Baxter Stockman. While Casey is the only one of these characters to make it into the original live action movies from the 90s, Krang's arrival may be the most anticipated by fans.

The villainous Krang was first introduced in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated TV series, and is described as a "disembodied brain inside a giant robot." In this sequel, Krang will come to Earth through a mysterious portal and invade New York City. The alien hails from a planet known as Dimension X. After losing his body, Krang surfaces on Earth with his massive fortress known as the Technodrome, which serves as a portal between Dimension X and Earth. He then teams up with Shredder, who agreed to make a new body for Krang, in exchange for letting Shredder use the Technodrome. Most of the monster's backstory appears to be arriving in tact when Out of the Shadows hits theaters this June.

Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox (April O'Neil), Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) and Jeremy Howard (Donatello) are reprising their roles for the sequel. New cast members include Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee as Shredder, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai and Laura Linney as a police detective. If this latest TV spot featuring the first full reveal of Krang doesn't get you excited, nothing will!
