When Paramount released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in 2014, the movie was a big hit, but still some fans were upset that this big-screen adventure didn't feature some of their favorite characters from the original comic books and animated series. That will all change with the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which includes a number of these iconic characters. While we wait for the June 3 release, Paramount has debuted three new clips, one of which shows how two New York street thugs are turned into Bebop & Rocksteady.

Before production began on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, it was announced that iconic characters Casey Jones, Baxter Stockman, Bebop and Rocksteady were going to be included in this sequel. The first clip, which came from the YouTube page, shows how Baxter Stockman manages to create Bebop & Rocksteady in his lab. We also get new scenes with these heroes in a half-shell "taking out the trash" while the final clip showcases Raphael's unique airplane jump.

After super villain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: The notorious Krang. While we don't get to see much of Krang in these TV spots from the TMNT YouTube page, we do get to see his face briefly, as Leonardo slices off what appears to be one of Kraang's metal arms. A new clip has also surfaced, which teases April O'Neil's (Megan Fox) first meeting with Casey Jones (Stephen Amell), who saves her from a group of foot soldiers.

Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) and Jeremy Howard (Donatello) all return to reprise their roles as the Turtles, along with Megan Fox (April O'Neill) and Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick). Tyler Perry has come aboard to play Baxter Stockman, alongside Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Brian Tee as Shredder and Brittany Ishibashi as Karai. Laura Linney also joins the cast as a law enforcement officer.

Dave Green (Earth to Echo) directs from a script by André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum. The screenwriters also wrote last year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which took in $485 million worldwide from a $125 million budget, and they also wrote the 2011 blockbuster Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, which was released by Paramount. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is slated for release on June 3, putting it up against Universal Pictures' Popstar: Never Stop Stopping. While we continue the countdown towards the June 3 release, take a look at the new clips below.
