Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, the follow-up to last year's reboot, is not scared to show of all of its secrets and spoilers, delivering a hard-hitting trailer that featured plenty of new character reveals and story details. Now comes a new behind-the-scenes preview courtesy of MTV. Here, we get to visit with star Megan Fox, who is reprising her role as roving Channel 5 News reporter April O'Neil. This is what she had to say about the sequel moving forward so quickly.

"It got green lit opening weekend. They hired someone who is a superfan of the Turtles. They thought the tone of the movie should be funny. This isn't Turtles in Gotham City. That's the wrong way to take it."

Also included in this latest teaser is an interview with all the turtles, played as Mo-Cap characters by Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek and Jeremy Howard. We also get to hear from new cast member Stephen Amell, who is bringing Casey Jones to the big screen for the first time in this new version of the franchise. We've heard previously that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will give Casey an origin story. This is what the actor behind the hockey mask had to say about taking on such an iconic comic book presence.

"I spend a fair amount of time with a hockey stick, amongst other things. Which is really cool. I get to learn to fight with a couple of new objects, as opposed to just a bow and arrow. But the cool thing about Casey Jones in this movie is that he is very much an unfinished product. As a matter of fact, it's more that he's just beginning."

Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox (April O'Neil), Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick), William Fichtner (Eric Sacks), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) and Jeremy Howard (Donatello) are reprising their roles for the sequel. New cast members include Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Brian Tee as Shredder, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai and Laura Linney in an unspecified role. Production on the action sequel wrapped production in New York this August.

Among the new characters revealed in the trailer from two weeks ago include Laura Linney's mystery character, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman and Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, along with Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady in action. This first look footage also introduced us to a sinister alien presence. And we also got a look at the turtles' souped-up new vehicle, a heavily modified garbage truck that shoots sewer lids. We also got to see how Casey Jones, April O'Neil and the turtles first meet, while Shredder introduces himself to Bebop, Rocksteady and Baxter Stockman.

Dave Green directs from a script by André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum. The screenwriters also wrote last year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which took in $485 million worldwide from a $125 million budget. Very little is known about the story at this point, although many fans were pleased about the inclusion of fan-favorite characters Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady. There has also been a rumor that the sequel will feature a live-action version of Krang, a villain created for the original animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is slated for release on June 3, 2016, putting it up against Universal Pictures' Top Secret Untitled Lonely Island Movie. It's possible that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 could put up even bigger numbers than its predecessor this coming summer, but we'll have to wait and see.
