If you didn't know by now, Terminator Genisys takes the entire iconic franchise and flips everything we've come to know on it's head. The story twists the main plot of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and instead of giving John Connor the T-800 as a guardian, the film drops Arnold Schwarzenegger's iconic killer cyborg even further into the past, where it becomes the personal guardian and foster parent to a very young Sarah. The latest poster, meant for International audiences, shows the future Sarah standing beside her Pops in a stance that screams, 'ready for battle!'

In Terminator Genisys, John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future...

It's clear from this poster that the relationship between Sarah and her aging cyborg foster dad Pops will be at the forefront of all the action. But she doesn't seem to be too attached to the idea of cybernetic humans, as she once again proudly wields the T-800 skull in her hand. Is this foreshadowing of what's to come? Will Pops turn on his beloved Sarah? We'll have to wait until this July to find out, in the meantime, enjoy:
