Arnold Schwarzenegger's "The Guardian" gets "stuck in traffic" in an unconventional way in a new TV spot for Terminator Genisys. While we have seen most of the footage before, there are a few new scenes for fans to enjoy, one of which featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger's aging Terminator flying head first through a police car. Terminator Genisys is the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes.

John Connor (Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor's mother, Sarah (Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won't ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

The supporting cast of Terminator Genisys also includes J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee, Douglas Smith, Sandrine Holt and Courtney B. Vance. Can Terminator Genisys bring the franchise back to its former glory? Check out the latest footage and chime in with your thoughts, as we get ready for the highly-anticipated July 1 release.
