Oliver Stone has found both his Condoleezza Rice and his Tony Blair for the upcoming Bush biopic W. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thandie Newton will portray the National Security Advisor-turned-Secretary of State Rice, while it is Ioan Gruffudd that has decided to step into the shoes of former British prime minister Blair.

Other cast members that have signed on include Josh Brolin, James Cromwell, Elizabeth Banks and Ellen Burstyn. They will play George W., George Sr., Laura and Barbara Bush, respectively. The film is said to look at Bush's formative years, as well as the path he took to the White House and his life as the president. While Bush is portrayed as a man that is easily distracted, the script is said to be sympathetic to his plight as a world leader.

Uncast at the moment are the roles of Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Karl Rove. The film is set to begin principle photography before the start of summer.
