Sony Pictures has teamed up with IMAX and Mondo to create a new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in honor of advanced tickets going on sale starting today. This IMAX's FanFix one-sheet, designed by Mondo artist Matt Taylor, will be given to fans who attend the 7 PM IMAX screenings of this sequel on May 1. Fandango also announced today that fans who purchase their tickets for the sequel today will get four tickets for the price of three, with the promo code SPIDEY2, although this offer is good for today (April 7) only.

In related news, U.K. fans will be the first to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which has been bumped from its April 18 date to April 16. Other countries releasing the sequel on that date are Belgium, Spain and Sweden, with over 70 other territories releasing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 between April 16 and the domestic release date of May 2.

This release strategy is not uncommon, with Marvel releasing Captain America: The Winter Soldier in over 30 international territories before its domestic debut this past weekend.
