‘The Dark Knight’ Back on Top of the Home Video Charts

The Dark KnightThere wasn't much competition on the home video front this week, and Batman capitalized. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Dark Knight managed to reclaim the top spot on the national DVD sales charts in its third week in release.

Two newcomers were right on Batman's heels, though, with Burn After Reading and Death Race finishing in second and third place on the sales charts. Both titles were successful in the rental arena as well, with both finishing in first and second place, respectively.

Death Race also fared well in high-def, debuting in second place while Burn After Reading finished in seventh place on the Blu-ray sales charts.

See.... This'll be the last time I say this, I promise, but you really shouldn't care how a movie's DVD sales did. I mean, if you liked the movie, hurrah for you, why do you care what others thought of it?

I didn't watch Mama mia but i could tell it is not that good. If I watched it i know I wont enjoy it though. so really the dark knight pretty much should've stayed up top for 3 weeks not been interrupted by mama mia at number one. of course that's just my thought. i mean I didn't watch this movie and i don't think I will, Just so the whole thing with watchmen wont be repeated over it. LOL.
