The Dark Knight didn't have a case of the Monday's as it set yet another box office record yesterday. According to Variety, The Dark Knight earned $6.3 million on Monday to bring its total to $400.1 million, breaking the record for the fastest film to reach $400 million domestic.

The $400 million milestone was set in just 18 days, shattering the previous record held by Shrek 2, which needed 43 days to cross that box office landmark.

After just three weeks in release, The Dark Knight stands a good chance at breaking the $500 million barrier that only Titanic has crossed, and there is a chance it could break that film's all-time domestic box office record of $600.8 million.
