‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Adding Marion Cotillard?

Marion Cotillard may star in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises Actress Marion Cotillard might reunite with her Inception director Christopher Nolan for The Dark Knight Rises. Here's an excerpt from a recent article below.

"Marion Cotillard in Batman 3. The actress, who is expecting a child in the spring with Guillaume Canet, will be scarce this year. She'll do a single film and her choice fell on Batman 3. This blockbuster produced by Warner Bros. enables her to work with the director Christopher Nolan, with whom she had turned very successful sci-fi Inception. Marion Cotillard will join the filming this summer in Los Angeles. She will share the bill with Anne Hathaway."

It isn't clear what role Marion Cotillard would play, if she is coming aboard. There has been speculation that Talia al Ghul will appear in The Dark Knight Rises, so it's possible Marion Cotillard could be up for that role.

The Dark Knight Rises starts shooting this spring.

The Dark Knight Rises was released July 20th, 2012.

Agreed @dan1, @thebd, @ejk1. So many potentially amazing projects being shelved, like Super Max and Y. Pisses fans off at times, to see the studios going for the predictable route, than the well done and still profitable route.

@thebd Dunno, man. I'm just picking up a regular copy tomorrow. Excited about the DLC characters for the future, too. They could continue to expand and expand on the roster if they wanted to.

I love how like the last 50-60 comments have absolutely nothing to do with Marion Cotillard maybe being cast in TDKR :P

@dan1 That is my feeling on most video games. Why would I want to see Hollywood f*ck up something that I had control over? It doesn't make any sense. However, that being said, if Hollywood made the Resident Evil 4 game into a movie, and did not alter it in any way, then I would definitely see that.

And how did they get it, @daveactor7? I know New Yorkers sometimes get sh*t before others, but the release date was Feb. 15th. Did they steal it or know somebody in the industry?

@ejk1 I'm sure @narrator will be disappointed to hear/read that. Although, I see BioShock in pretty much the same light as Metal Gear Solid. If you take the time to play the game all the way through, it's better then most Hollywood movies anyways.

IGN also has a chat with Gore Verbinski on why a BioShock film won't happen, but I believe that to be a good thing. Too much will get lost in the translation from the game to film, IMO.
