If you can't trust Empire Magazine to come through with new The Dark Knight Rises images, then who can you trust? The July edition of their movie mag comes tagged with a double cover, one featuring Christian Bale as Batman, the other featuring Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and includes a pullout poster of either hero. We also get three new images, offering a fresh look at Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard). Is it just me, or is Selena Kyle's backside baiting another The Client List controversy?

@jayaottley you were right, I cant believe I forgot about those covers where it was Bane on one and Bats on the other holding that weapon. These just look more refined compared to those. I am glad they are focusing more on Catwoman though

I am all for Hathoway as Catwoman but there is something about those cat ears that just doest sit right. Its a small complaint and i have ignored it until now but i just thought i would throw it out there.

I have no doubt this movie will be great, Nolan has a great style

And that's because he actually is in the film, otherwise there wouldn't be a reason for his name being within the cast listings, would there?

@bawnian-dexeus@superman81 They've already done a Bane cover, I'm pretty sure of that, so not its time to give Catwoman some coverage and I must say that coverage is looking pretty darn fine from that angle.

@vampire2000 Maybe he really is in the Dark Knight Rises, and it's supposed by a suprise, but movieweb has spoiled that for us?

@avrahama If Wayne doesn't change his voice drastically enough, people could recognize it. Also, Catwoman's suit is skin tight and pretty sexy; just because there's no cleavage doesn't mean it's not catwoman enough. I loved The Avengers as much as the next person, I'm pretty much a Whedon fangirl, but we knew how it'd start, how they'd have issues, and that they'd win. We knew none of the superheros could die because they wouldn't allow that. The writing was great, as per Whedon's amazing ability, but... I just can't see The Avengers being a better movie than TDKR.

@bawnian-dexeus I'm shocked empire didn't go with a Bane cover as well. And yes Bruce does look beat down. But those push ups seem to do him justice.

Blah. Some wince at the idea of a Batman retake coming from DC, I'm drooling for one... this last Batman has been like a comic relief for me. Christian Bale - SUCKS as batman. Keaton wasn't exactly 'on' either, but at least he didn't sound like he had a bad case of throat cancer. And I'm sorry but even as a woman I can say that THAT catwoman isn't catlike or sexy enough to be catwoman. Blah.. maybe I'm just in a slump? Just seen The Avengers and I'm not sure any movie can out beat that diamond - time to step it up a notch Hollywood. Waiting 4 the retake..

The one with Catwoman half in the shadows is nice.
