‘The Dictator’ First-Look Photo Featuring Sasha Baron Cohen

Sacha Baron Cohen has been spotted on the set of his upcoming comedy The Dictator, which is being directed by long-time collaborator Larry Charles, who last helmed Bruno for the comic-in-disguise. Based loosely on the best-selling Saddam Hussein novel 'Zabibah And The King', the story here revolves around a dictator who attempts to keep democracy out of the country he so lovingly oppresses. In the First-Look photo below, Sacha Baron Cohen is seen supporting the Red, White, and Blue colors of the country The Dictator so loves to hate.

Seems like he's going for 'The Great Dictator' kinda vibe, should be good, Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius!

@jptheredskull "One of the greatest comedies of all time"? I disagree. That would include Duck Soup, Airplane, Animal House and Some Like It Hot just to name a few. Talladega Nights maybe one of Will Ferrell's greatest comedies, but I just didn't find it funny. Gary Cole was pretty funny, but Will, John, and especially Sasha were all very annoying.

@SpaceCowboy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby is one of the greatest comedies of all time if not only because of its immense stupidity.

Baron Cohen is awesome. I can't wait for him in the Freddy Mercury biopic.

If it's not another Borat/Bruno type of thing (which I don't think it will be because the Da Ali G characters have now gone full circle each with their own movie) then I will see it. I actually really think Sasha has got some serious talent, it just gets wasted with idiotic comedies. Talledega Nigts was a flop to me. But he was fantastic in Sweeney Todd and got the biggets laughs outta me in the Madagasar films.
