The response to director Tim Burton's Dark Shadows, which stars Johnny Depp as 70s cult icon and vampire Barnabas Collins, has proven to be so positive, Paramount Pictures is moving their comedy The Dictator out of the way of being trampled.

Both films were set for release on May 11th, but the Sacha Baron Cohen mistaken identity comedy will now bow five days later than planned, debuting on Wednesday, May 16th.

This positions the film right in-between Dark Shadows and the May 18th release of Battleship, as we head into Memorial Day weekend, giving film fans quite the variety to choose from.
