Martial artist/actor Scott Adkins has boarded The Expendables 2, signing on to play Jean-Claude Van Damme's henchman.

Sylvester Stallone returns in The Expendables 2 along with Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis. Original The Expendables cast members Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, and Randy Couture are expected to return for the sequel as well.

Simon West will direct The Expendables 2 from a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone. Production is scheduled to start later this month.
