‘The Family’ Trailer with Robert de Niro and Michelle Phieffer

The first trailer for director Luc Besson's The Family (formerly known as Malavita) brings Oscar winner Robert De Niro back to the mafia genre as the patriarch of the Manzoni crime syndicate. When he rats out his former crew, this gangster and his family (Michelle Pfeiffer, Dianna Agron, and John D'Leo) are relocated to France, where they have trouble blending in to their new environment. In addition, we have the latest poster and two photos for this dark comedy, directed by Luc Besson and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, which hits theaters September 20.

Well the jokes are about as old as the actors. Gangsters who beat up people for the smallest reasons.

But it is nice to see De Niro back as a gangster

@bawnian-dexeus its a Luc Besson film pal, so it pretty much is, though it feels americana that's the whole premise, what happens to the local Mafia when a Bronx family moves into town. Its Besson back onto form, comedy mingled with ripe family dilemmas and action, action, action, better than his stints with the fantastically crap Arthur series.
