The Girl Next Door: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Driven largely by sales of the unrated version, The Girl Next Door sold more than 700,000 DVDs on Tuesday, the title's first day in release, according to executives at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Wrapped in a brown paper band, the unrated version of The Girl Next Door, starring Elisha Cuthbert and Emile Hirsch, is on fire, FHE executives said, with DVD sales expected to easily top the film's $15 million boxoffice gross by week's end. Rental data for The Girl Next Door is not yet available.

Director Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol. 2 from Miramax and Buena Vista Home Entertainment remained atop Video Store magazine's rental chart for a second week.
