20th Century Fox has made an adjustment to its release schedule today, moving The Heat from an April 5, 2013 release to June 28, 2013.

The comedy from director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) will now face Sony's White House Down and Universal's Kick-Ass 2. The Lone Ranger and Despicable Me 2 open a few days later on Wednesday, July 3. As of now, Jurassic Park 3D is the only movie slated to open on April 5 in wide release.

Sandra Bullock stars in The Heat as an uptight FBI agent who is forced to partner up with a wild-card Boston cop (Melissa McCarthy) to bring down a drug lord. Kaitlin Olson, Taran Killam, Michael Rapaport, and Demián Bichir also star.
