‘The Hunger Games’ Adds Toby Jones

Toby Jones joins The Hunger Games cast Actor Toby Jones has joined the cast of the highly-anticipated adaptaiton of The Hunger Games for Lionsgate and director Gary Ross.

It isn't known who exactly Toby Jones will play, although it is said he will be the "host/narrator alongside Stanley Tucci," who plays Caesar Flickman. We reported on Stanley Tucci's casting earlier this month, whose character Caesar Flickman hosts The Hunger Games and interviews all of the 24 tributes for the televised event. Since a character name wasn't given for Toby Jones' part, it seems they may have invented the character specifically for the movie.

Gary Ross will direct The Hunger Games from a screenplay by Billy Ray, which is adapted from the Suzanne Collins novel.

It still isn't known when production will start on The Hunger Games yet, although a March 23, 2012 release date has already been set.

The Hunger Games was released March 23rd, 2012.
