Get ready to go green in a non-environmental way on DVD and Blu-Ray this October. Incredible Hulk will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 21. The film will be released in a single-disc version ($29.98 SRP), a three-disc special edition ($34.98 SRP) and the Blu-Ray version ($39.98 SRP). The film stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt.

The Incredible Hulk

Mild-mannered scientist Bruce Banner has been traveling the globe in search of the antidote that will allow him to break free from his primal alter ego, but both the warmongers who long to exploit him for their own gain and a horrific creature known as The Abomination are determined to stop him from achieving his noble goal in Transporter 2 director Louis Leterrier's take on the classic Marvel Comics superhero tale. For years, Bruce (Edward Norton) has been living in the shadows, pursued by the military and haunted by the rage within. But traveling the world in secrecy isn't easy, and as hard as he tries Bruce can't get Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) off his mind. The daughter of Bruce's nemesis Gen. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt), Betty represents everything that is beautiful in the world to a man who lives his life on the run. Eventually, Bruce returns to civilization and faces the wrath of The Abomination. While the Hulk may be a formidable force of nature, The Abomination is decidedly more powerful, and determined to destroy Bruce Banner. Created when KGB agent Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) exposed himself to a higher dose of the same radiation that transformed Bruce into The Hulk, The Abomination is unable to change back into human form and holds Bruce accountable for his frightful condition. With time fast running out for both Bruce and The Hulk, New York City is about to become the ultimate urban battle zone as two of the most powerful creatures ever to walk the earth clash in a massive, no-holds-barred fight to the finish.

Basically, a sh*tty 2-disc w/ a "Digital Copy" extra disc isn't worth my money. Sorry, Hollywood. I'll be waiting for the Extended Cut sometime next year. Looks like you won't be making twice the dough and double dipping off my ass.

Avalanche, since when does WalMart price a new release at 15$, even if it is only a one disc? Your pricing is as off as your "Are YOU GUYS dumb?" Question, seeing as how it was only CBF who asked about price. You people need to think before you post, seriously.

Nice, can't wait to see the deleted scene where Bruce goes to the arctic to commit suicide and ends up finding Captain America or the ice hes encased in or something like that.

egad the digital copy, i always forget about that, and have yet to appreciate it when i get a dvd with it.

i can see where some people might want that, but not me.

Alright Avalanche, since I am the single person talking about price here, I assume you mean me when you say "you guys."

True, for some reason I thought those were store prices. Retarded on my part. Thanks for pointing that out, though, Av.

However, the fact still remains about the so-called "3-disc special edition". I see NO special edition, only this:

-Disc 1) the movie, commentaries (maybe deleted scenes)

-Disc 2) FOUR extras - yes, that right - FOUR. Besides Alternate opening/deleted scenes, what have you got left (not Blu-Ray)? Making-of, Becoming Hulk/Abomination, Anatomy scene breakdown, and comic2film feature. Ok, maybe that's five. Four or five, whatever.

                -Disc 3) Digital Copy

So there you go. There's the 3-disc regular DVD. I think I will wait until the studio decides to double dip and releases the Extended Cut, as this is obviously NOT it. 70 EXTRA minutes? Yeah, way more worth it. And you know they gotta be saving more special features to put on that edition. I mean, c'mon - four or five features?? That 3-disc is a joke. I'm hopin' they will use the theatrical poster as the cover where the logo says THE INCREDIBLE in yellow over top of HULK.

no offense guys but are you guys dumb? there is no store in the world who actually charges the MSRP on these movies, expect the Blu ray to be at Walmart for $25 and the single disc to be at $15

                    • ghettokid • 7 years ago

The blu-ray case is green also, nice.

                            Well.... $ 30 bucks for a SINGLE-DISC REGULAR DVD??

That's the most over-priced thing I have ever heard. Who told the studios to jack up the price? $20 is expensive enough for a DVD movie in this country, but $ 30 ?? C'mon, what's so special about a 1 disc Hulk movie with Deleted scenes and a commentary that it's worth 10 more dollars??

At first, I thought maybe the 3-disc is 3 discs b/c Leterrier said that there will be 70 extra mins. of film incorporated back into it, but, no, it looks like it's b/c of the Digital Copy, which who really wants, anyway? So, where's the extended cut with 70 minutes put back into the film? Hmm? What's that? Double dip?

BTW They should have used the poster artwork of Norton walking away from The Hulk in the darker poster for the cover, as this is a darker film.

The only cool thing is that this comes out the same day as the Casino Royale 007 3-disc double dip DVD. I would love to get a special edition of this (preferably TWO DISCS), but it doesn't look worth the asking price. All in all? *cough*rip-off*cough*
