Legendary Pictures has picked up the rights to The Join, a new sci-fi thriller from writer Justin Rhodes (Grassroots).

The story follows a Hazmat team that is marked for execution after showing up on the scene of a particle accelerator accident. The project is being described as Three Days of the Condor crossed with Inception and Looper.

The Join does not yet have a set start date.
