‘The Last Stand’ 'Retirement Is for Sissies' Poster with Arnold Schwarzenegger

January is not normally seen as a haven for blockbuster movies, but you can't get much bigger than action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, literally and figuratively. The former California governor returns to the big screen early next year in The Last Stand, which marks the English-language directorial debut of Korean filmmaker Jee-woon Kim (I Saw the Devil). Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Ray Owens, a sheriff whose small town gets whipped into a frenzy when a drug lord (Eduardo Noriega) escapes from prison and makes a bee-line to the Mexican border. Little does he know that Ray will be waiting for him, with a huge gun and Johnny Knoxville's Lewis Dinkum. Check out the latest one-sheet for this action-thriller, which goes to prove that 'Retirement is for Sissies!'

Tagline is classic, but the poster sucks.

Give me a one sheet of nothing but Arnold and a revolver pointed at the viewer. Then slap the tagline beneath it all. Cheesy 80's poster FTW.

@moviegeek, I laughed pretty hard when I read your comment, it's so true. On one half of the poster you have Arnold looking bad-ass with a huge machine gun..........and then Johnny Knoxville.

well for him, it fits the tag, after stepping down from office, instead of retirement, he went back to making movies,

And i agree, johnny makes the poster look cheap. Just like he made the rock look crappy in "walking tall"

That's one of the best taglines I've seen in a while.
