Just last week, Warner Bros. moved one of its anticipated new comic book adaptations to a summer release date... and now it's moving back to April. eRc Box Office is reporting that Warner Bros. has moved The Losers from its June 4 release date to April 23.

The Sylvain White film was previously set for release on April 9, but was moved to make way for Warner Bros. 3D epic Clash of the Titans, which was moved to an April 2 release. Now it's set for April 23 and will be going up the Will Forte ensemble comedy MacGruber and the Shia LaBeouf/Michael Douglas sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

The move might be better in the long run, though, since The Losers was going up against three films during the July 4 frame - the Russell Brand and Jonah Hill comedy Get Him To The Greek, Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl's Killers and the comic-strip adaptation Marmaduke.

Sylvain White's film The Losers stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Columbus Short, Jason Patric, Zoe Saldana, Oscar Jaenada and Holt McCallany.
