After the success of The Muppets last year, Walt Disney Pictures is moving forward on The Muppets 2, with Nick Stoller and James Bobin already working on the sequel script. Stars Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy made an appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas yesterday, where they unveiled this promo art for the sequel. Check it out.

We reported earlier this month that The Muppets 2 will be a comedy caper, an homage to the 1981 movie The Great Muppet Caper. The studio is already eyeing a summer 2013 release, although that has not been confirmed yet.
