Because of consumer confusion, the David Ayer directed drama The Night Watchman has had it's title changed to Street Kings. Ace Show Biz claims that this decision came because the general populace was getting the film mixed-up with Warner Brother's highly anticipated comic book adaptation Watchmen.
An official announcement from the studio is forth coming. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, and Chris Evans. The storyline follows an LAPD cop that is still grieving over the loss of his wife. When he is framed for the death of a fellow officer, he must confront those he works for and the entire system that he has devoted his life to.
Street Kings will debut on April 11th. 2008.
