Willem Dafoe and Udo Kier have joined the growing cast of director Lars von Trier's The Nymphomaniac. The actors are the final pieces of an immense ensemble cast of more than 60 featured actors.

Charlotte Gainsbourg stars as a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, who starts telling the sexually-charged story of her life to a man (Stellan Skarsgård) who finds her left for dead in an alley. Other new additions to the cast include Jean-Marc Barr, Caroline Goodall, Kate Ashfield, Saskia Reeves, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Michael Pas and Omar Shargawi.

Lars von Trier is directing from his own original screenplay, with Louise Vesth producing. Production is currently under way in Cologne, Germany.

This project marks the third collaboration between Willem Dafoe and Lars von Trier, following Antichrist and Manderlay.
