Entertainment Weekly reports that The Simpsons will continue their tradition of bringing on Glee guest stars with Jane Lynch voicing a role next season.

Jane Lynch, who won an Emmy for her portrayal as Sue Sylvester on Glee, will provide the voice of Roz, Homer Simpson's new assistant at the power plant. Here's what The Simpsons showrunner Al Jean had to say about Roz:

"This woman seems terrifically nice, but then it turns out she's just completely undermining him every step of the way and gets his job - until he can discover her one weakness with the help of Ned Flanders."

The actress recorded her lines for the role last week and the episode, entitled Replaceable You, will air early next season. We reported last month that The Simpsons was renewed for an unprecedented 23rd season on Fox.

The Season 22 premiere of The Simpsons featured guest stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley from the cast of Glee back in September.
