    looks good to me..the part with the circular saw ...INTENSE...the original film was damn good...hope this turns out to be good too

      The "ORGINIAL" "The Stepfather" film was included in Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments on spot #70!!1 AND WHY IS THIS NOT ON DVD!!!

      The film was also nominated for the International Fantasy Film Award for Best Film at the 1990 Fantasporto!!

      Joseph Ruben, the director of this film, was honoured with the Critics award at the 1988 Cognac Festival.

      Terry O'Quinn was nominated for both a Saturn and a Independent Spirit Award for his performance

        ROFL!!!! LOL!!! LQQks f*ckin stupid dull and unorginial.....LOL PG-13 too!! Another lousy remake ....wehn the orginial should have been cleaned up and remastered and placed back into theaters!!!

        I guess Sela Ward needs to pay rent!!!!

            Yeah, there making a lot of these remakes rated Pg-13, now. First was When a Stranger Calls, then Prom Night, now this.
