Curb Your Enthusiasm star/creator Larry David will join The Three Stooges in drag as Mother Mengele. The deal is currently being finalized.

Last week we reported that Jane Lynch has been cast as Mother Superior, who tries to keep The Three Stooges in line at the orphanage they grow up in. It seems Larry David's Mother Mengele will oversee the entire orphanage.

Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly will direct The Three Stooges from their own screenplay. The movie is split up into three separate vignettes, which tell comedic tales revolving around The Three Stooges. Will Sasso and Sean Hayes are locked in to play Curly and Larry, while Chris Diamantopoulos is signing on to play Moe.

Production is scheduled to begin in May.
