‘The Wolverine’ Alternate Ending Reveals Iconic 1975 Yellow and Black Costume

Back in September, we broke the news that The Wolverine was planning on showing Logan's iconic 1975 yellow and black costume at the very end of this superhero adventure. Today, we have the alternate ending featured on the 4 disc Blu-ray Unleashed Extended Edition, 2 disc Blu-ray and DVD, which shows us how this iconic outfit came into play. In addition, we have the X-Men: Days of Future Past first look featurette that will be included on The Wolverine's Blu-ray and DVD sets, which features director Bryan Singer giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the sets being used in the sequel.

By request of the studio, these videos have been removed.

The Wolverine was released July 26th, 2013.

Pointless scene. I'm glad they didn't include this in the movie. I'm pretty sure that costume would look ridiculous if he actually wore it.

@WebOfMovies Yeah, He definitely should have had it on to stay true to the comics!

Why didn't they keep this in the movie? I wish we could've seen him wear it but I just don't understand why they didn't keep this scene in the film at least.

I think they could of used that ending. I'm also glad Singer is back with the X Men franchise.

Bryan Singer's side-featurette was pretty damn enjoyable.

From the looks of things, Wolvie will wear a body suit with similar colors from his comic costume..The mask, I stay optional on that whether hed look ok wearing it or not :]

It would be weird seeing him wear it because Wolvie in the comics is much shorter & seeing the costume on Hugh's frame would be awkward.

That scene would be so much better if we actually got to see him wear it. Or worse. We'll never know.

That's the costume that was supposed to be from Bryan Singer's first film. Guess that was total bullsh*t. Good cut though.
