‘The Wolverine’ to Feature Multiple Languages Says Director James Mangold

James Mangold confirms The Wolverine will be shot in multiple languages Director James Mangold has become the latest filmmaker to join Twitter. He is currently in production on The Wolverine, and a few hours ago (7 A.M. Australia time), the he shared some insight into the production, confirming that this superhero follow-up will feature both English and Japanese portions of dialogue.

Take a look at what he had to say, along with a brief rundown of a scene between Logan (Hugh Jackman), Yukio (Rila Fukushima), and Shingen Yashida (Hiroyuki Sanada).

This confirms a report from last August, when the filmmaker said this will be a "foreign language superhero drama," since it will be shot in both Japan and Australia. We'll be keeping an eye on the filmmaker's Twitter account from now on, to see if any more intriguing tidbits are revealed while production continues.

The Wolverine was released July 26th, 2013.
