Now that Doctor Strange has unleashed the power of mysticism on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and the box office for that matter), all eyes are on 2017 and Marvel's slate of upcoming movies. One of those movies will be the culmination of the Thor trilogy, Thor: Ragnarok. We still don't have a trailer, but there is a pretty cool set video featuring the movie's main villain Hela that you can check out.

The video was posted to the bigfootkam YouTube Channel and at first, looks a bit underwhelming. The set they were filming on will clearly be heavily reliant on visual effects. But once the action kicks in, the unfinished set doesn't matter quite as much. Cate Blanchett is playing the villain Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, and sadly, she isn't featured in the video (it is her stunt double Zoe Bell), but we do get to see what the big baddie will look like in action. As it turns out, she will be very acrobatic.

In the video, we can see Zoe Bell, who some may know for her role in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof, doing some seriously complex flipping and twisting in what we assume will be a very cool looking shot when it's all finished up in the movie. It looks like the kind of thing that is begging for some super slow motion. The video also offers a look at Hela's costume, mostly by way of a lighting test, but it still gives us a little something we didn't have previously. It should make fans even more excited to see Oscar winner Cate Blanchett all decked out as Hela when the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok finally arrives. Since the movie is still about a year away, that may not be for a while, but you never know with Marvel.

We haven't been given an official synopsis for Thor 3 as of yet, but we do know a few things about the plot of the movie. For one, it will at least be partially adapting the beloved Planet Hulk storyline from the comics, which is something fans have been craving in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for quite some time. We also know that it has been described as a "buddy cop" road movie with Thor and Bruce Banner/The Hulk joining forces to take down the bad guys in the movie. We also know that Benedict Cumberbatch will be making an appearance in the movie as Doctor Strange and that at least part of the movie will be taking place on Earth, or Midgard, as it were. Specifically, in New York City.

Thor 3 added a lot of new talent, like Cate Blanchett. Other new talent came in the form of Karl Urban, who is playing the villain Skurge, Jeff Goldblum, who is playing Grandmaster and What We Do in the Shadows director Taika Waititi. There will be a lot of familiar faces returning for this installment as well. Chris Hemsworth will once again be putting the hammer down as Thor, Tom Hiddleston is having at least one more go as Loki, Mark Ruffalo is coming back to the MCU as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Anthony Hopkins is returning as Odin and The Warriors Three are also set to appear. Thor: Ragnarok is set for release on November 3, 2017. You can check out the set video for yourself below.
