Next year is going to be a very packed and very promising year for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only are we getting the highly anticipated sequel to James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy as well as the first solo Spider-Man movie in the MCU, Spider-Man: Homecoming, but we are also getting what could be the best Thor movie yet with Thor: Ragnarok. While Thor: Ragnarok has added a ton of new talent for the third installment of the franchise, it looks like some friendly faces will be returning as well.

Thanks to a couple of posts to Instagram, it seems all but confirmed that the Warriors Three will indeed be coming back for Thor: Ragnarok. The movie is currently filming in Australia, and a tattoo shop there called Punktured Tattoo recently got a visit from none other than Ray Stevenson, who plays Volstagg. The actor stopped in to get a tattoo "in between filming," according to the caption.

"Look who just stopped by our Gold Coast studio, to get some ink in between filming THOR! It's Ray Stevenson! Awesome work on the tatt Dai! #punkturedtattoo #tattoo #thor #raystevenson #punktured"

The next clue came in the form of an Instagram post from one of the other Warriors Three actors, Tadanobu Asano, who plays Hogun. Asano was in both of the previous Thor movies, but his role in Thor: The Dark World was quite small. The actor posted a picture of himself on a beach, and simply captioned it with "Hello Australlia." Unless he is just taking a very coincidental vacation, it pretty much seems like a sure thing that Hogun will be back. As for Zachary Levi, who plays Fandral, he hinted about his involvement in Thor: Ragnarok during San Diego Comic-Con, so that just about seals the deal as far as seeing Thor's most trusted warrior companions in the movie.

Though the first two installments of the Thor franchise aren't exactly regarded as the best films that Marvel Studios has released so far, fans do love the character. Chris Hemsworth has done incredibly well as part of the ensemble in both Avengers movies, but it is high time that the God of Thunder got a solo movie that lived up to its true potential. The fact that Mark Ruffalo will be joining up with Thor as The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok may very well be enough to put this movie over the top. It doesn't hurt anything that Tom Hiddleston is returning one more time as Loki, either.

In addition to the familiar faces, Hemsworth will be joined by some very impressive new cast members in Thor: Ragnarok. Cate Blanchett will be playing the primary villain as Hela, Jeff Goldblum will be playing the role of Grandmaster, Karl Urban is playing the villainous Skurge, and Creed star Tessa Thompson is playing Valkyrie. Hunt for the Wilder People and What We Do In The Shadows director Taika Waititi is directing. Thor: Ragnarok is set for release on November 3, 2017.
