Kat Dennings? Yuck. That aside, this might be a decent movie.

Agreed, @gandoff. That's simply a sign of bad writing for the comics, but then again Odin can't be all-knowing and all-powerful all of the time, either.

My question is, if Asgard is so strong, to war with, and win against any of the 9 realms, why is it, once Thor comes to age, it seems there is things more powerful than Asgard? lol. I know Loki starts Ragnarok, and uses is inside information to use Giants and such in the "Last War". But just weird Odin is so powerful, then when his son gets to be a late teen, early adult, He starts to slip. What a god like immortal right? lol

All kidding aside, sounds like a good story, but has so many questions, most will not be answer until 1) I see a trailer, and 2) Then see the movie.

I am so excited for this! And what a great synopsis. Enough info that we know what's going on, but not enough as to ruin the movie. Well done, Marvel!

I think Jane Foster will die. Is a good way to introduce Sif as a love interest

They had me at "reunite with Jane Foster."

... Unfortunately, that was the end of the synopsis. XP

Nothing against Portman, but Jane Foster needs to go.

@bawnian-dexeus Man, I agree I also want to see the Enchantress. Well like you said, maybe next time in Thor 3, but hey can't wait to see what Malekith will be like, hope he'll be a great villain.

@skywise Given the lack of information (thank Odin) it could be either an Asgardian character or a Human ally

                              • skywise • 3 years ago

@bawnian-dexeus A hint or cameo would be cool and then a full blown story in the 3rd. With Enchantress being one of Thor's love interests (and villians) there may be too much of a love...er...square going on.

For now focusing on the Jane Foster/Sif triangle would be the smart movie.

There are rumors all over the web that a major character will die. I wonder who it will be...

@bawnian-dexeus@ejk1 I'd love that too. Now the next thing to wait for... the first full-length Trailer.

@bawnian-dexeus That would be cool. I think a hint of Surtur would be great.

                                      Let's hope for a hint/cameo of Enchantress
