DreamWorks Pictures has released three new clips from Lincoln, director Steven Spielberg's biopic that explores the tough decisions Honest Abe must make during the final months of his Presidency. The first scene features Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robert Lincoln, pleading with his father (Daniel Day-Lewis) to let him enlist in the Civil War. The second clip shows Mary Todd Lincoln (Sally Field) engaging in some polite but pointed banter with Thaddeus Stevens (Tommy Lee Jones). The third scene shows Lincoln using a mathematical maxim to illustrate his point about slavery.
