Deadline New York is reporting that Todd Phillips and Joel Silver are teaming up to make Project X for Warner Bros.

The film is being budgeted at $12 million and will have a hard R-rating. New director Nima Nourizadeh will be making his feature directing debut. Phillips is going to produce.

Project X story details are being kept under lock and key with the studio not even giving out full scripts and they are watermarking the portions that they do.

Also, the cast of this film is going to be completely unknown. They are seeking out actors with little to no credits at all. This also explains how this project is being made for such a small sum of money at a major studio.

Production on Project X is set to start June 14 in Los Angeles. The screenplay was penned by Matt Drake.
