Tom Cruise Talks ‘Mission: Impossible 5’ Possibilities

Tom Cruise gives Mission: Impossible 5 updateMission: Impossible star Tom Cruise was recently interviewed and revealed that Mission: Impossible 5 might be on it's way to the big screen.

The actor explains his experience making films and his vision for the franchise.

"I started Mission: Impossible hoping I could make many of them. It's a character that I can grow with. At that time it was the most expensive film in the history of Paramount Pictures, and the first film I was producing. It's been pretty exciting. I'll make a bunch of those. I'll make as many as people want to see... because they're very challenging, and so much fun to make. We're already working on different images. Talking conceptually. I love traveling around promoting different movies because I'm always looking at different places, and I always walk around to see the city. I look at architecture, subways... coming up with different sequences."

Tom Cruise will next be seen in Christopher McQuarrie's crime drama Jack Reacher, which hits theaters December 21st.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation comes to theaters July 31st, 2015.

I hope they bring everyone from MI4 back, including Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, and of course Jeremy Renner. Also Ving Rhames should get a bigger part.

...this told me nothing, aside from the fact that it's at least in the works.

GP was probably the best besides the MI. If I had to rank them it would be GP, MI, MI3,MI2. I thought the action is GP was much better and the cast was nicely done. I hope we can see him in at least one more MI movie

Hey, bring it on. Brad Bird managed to not only revive a franchise that had very little heat left on it, but he did it by making the best film in the series. If they can recapture that magic even a little bit, M:I5 will be worth it.

Let's do it! shoot two films back to back.

It's always fun to have a new MI movie.

I feel that Brad Bird really added a level of depth to the characters in GP. It would be a shame if he did not come back.
